What to wear for timeless, elegant winter portraits
Think country luxury - rich textures, classic cuts, and colours that complement both the season and your horse.

Key pieces:
- Quilted gilets or tailored coats
- Chunky knit jumpers or roll-necks
- Leather boots or riding boots
- Wool scarves and leather gloves
- Flat caps or felt fedoras
Colour pairing by horse:
Bay, brown, or liver chestnut horses - deep forest green, burgundy, navy, camel, or cream tones create stunning contrast
Grey or dapple horses - jewel tones work beautifully - emerald, plum, teal, or classic navy and charcoal
Chestnut or palomino horses - rich chocolate brown, forest green, rust orange, or soft cream complement warm coats perfectly
Black horses - almost anything works, but cream, camel, burgundy, and soft grey create particularly striking images
